From the Pastor

We live in a noisy world!

Watching my wife, Christy, with our sons (and now, with our grandsons), I remember wondering: "Doesn't all that non-stop noise, all day long, bother her? How does she find time to even think?" I'm sure your life is similar... kids, busy friends, husband (demanding?), and maybe even grandkids.

Auditory overload! So we load up the iPod (or iPhone), or turn up the sound system, or escape into quiet and solitude - to get a break from it all. Our culture complicates things by imparting its myriads of wisdoms and philosophies, opinions and advice - sometimes with belligerent shouts, and other times through muted whispers.

In all this cacophony, there's only one voice that really matters. Have you positioned your life to hear that all-important, eternal voice?

Bethel's Women's Ministries offer you unique opportunities to encounter, consider, and obey the voice of God. It's our conviction that He still speaks in concrete, clear, and authoritative ways - through His Word. There is something powerful about His speaking in the context of relationships - women with women seeking His wisdom and their mutual growth, encouragement, and direction.

Our new ministry year will be packed with these kinds of dynamic, God-drenched opportunities. All we need is you! Please make it a point to come, commit, and be part of one of our studies this year... and don't forget the special events we've planned for you.

God is speaking... you don't want to miss it!

Pursuing Grace and Truth,

michael boys
