We invite you to join us in a forty-day season of prayer with a focus on "thankfulness". What is more appropriate as we approach our celebration of the Thanksgiving Holiday than to turn our hearts toward the One who is the source of all reasons to be thankful? Let's consider how we might pray for God's personal and transcendent nature. Also, as we think of God's actions, let's pray with thankfulness for His past faithfulness, present provision and plan for the future.
Prayer changes our hearts and accomplishes much as we pray in the Holy Spirit. Seeking God's will rather than our own is a habit worth forming, and prayer is a primary way to pursue this. Your prayers will honor Him to whom you pray, as you seek both the fulfillment of His Kingdom and His mercy toward all whom He would call as the day draws near. Join together with us in thankful and petitioning prayer for Bethel, for Houston, for the USA, for the world...
The suggestions within this daily prayer commitment are designed to remind you to pray frequently and to “jump start” you into this effort. But, we trust the Holy Spirit will then grab you and show you much more than our feeble efforts and suggestions of prayer topics within this initiative.
Yours in Christ,

Michael Boys, D. Min.
